Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role for a General Dentist at Beacon Dental Group in Boston, MA. The General Dentist will be responsible for performing general dental procedures and treatments, such as dental exams, fillings, extractions, and cleanings. They will also provide oral health education and guidance to patients and collaborate with other dental professionals to create comprehensive treatment plans.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Dental Care, Dentistry, and Oral Care skills
  • Experience in Sterilization and Dental Assisting practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Certification as a Dental Assistant from an accredited program
  • Experience with dental software and office management systems is a plus
  • CPR/BLS certification is preferred
  • Radiology Certification required

Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Certified Dental Assistant located in Boston, MA. The Certified Dental Assistant will be responsible for assisting dentists during procedures, performing sterilization of instruments, taking radiographs, and providing patients with oral care instructions. Additionally, the assistant will manage patient records and ensure a clean and safe dental environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
  • Greet, seat, and prepare patients for procedures
  • Take radiographs
  • Assist the dentist chair-side during a variety of procedures
  • Maintain accurate and updated patient charts
  • Instruct patients on post-op care and oral hygiene

What We’re Looking For

  • DDS or DMD degree with specialty training in Orthodontics
  • Board-certified (or board-eligible) in Orthodontics
  • Minimum of 4-7 years clinical experience preferred
  • Excellent communicator with strong patient engagement skills
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for delivering high-quality, inclusive care
  • Available to work on Saturdays

What You’ll Do

  • Diagnose and treat dental and facial irregularities
  • Develop and manage customized orthodontic treatment plans
  • Fit and adjust braces, aligners, and other orthodontic appliances
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as needed
  • Collaborate with our dental team (general dentist and specialists) to deliver comprehensive care
  • Educate patients and families on oral health and treatment outcomes
